Business Members of VALOMA

With the purpose of gathering individuals and organizations who share the same pespectives and goals of developing Vietnam’s logistics sector, the Vietnam Association for Logistics Manpower Development has built a nationwide membership network step by step, and organized many valuable activities as well as created connections between members.

On the date of establishment on April 30, 2021, according to the Decision No. 568/QD-BNV of the Minister of Home Affairs, VALOMA attracted 89 new members, of which only 2 members are logistics enterprises. The year 2021 was a turbulent year due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, which makes the Association’s deployment activities more difficult. However, by 2021, the number of members rose significantly, compared to the data of the year 2020, from 89 to 209 members, including 34 business members. By the end of June 2022, Association has added 92 new members, and the total has increased to 301 members, including 41 enterprises (accounting for 14% of the total).

If we filter the business members based on geographical area, VALOMA’s business members are relatively equally distributed in the Northern and Southern regions. In the Northern part, there are 21 members who are enterprises, which accounts for 51% of the total, and 20 business members in Southern Vietnam, which accounts for 49% of the total. Those data will definitely change rapidly in the near future along with the pervasiveness of the Association’s roles in the development of Vietnam’s logistics human resources nowadays.
