Invitation Letter to Write Papers for the 3rd Vietnam National Scientific Conference on Logistics and Supply Chain Management (CLSCM-2023)

The Vietnam Association for Logistics Manpower Development (VALOMA) in collaboration with University of Finance – Marketing; University of Economics and Law – Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City; University of Economics – University of Danang and Foreign Trade University are co-organizing the 3rd National Scientific Conference on Logistics and Supply Chain Management in Vietnam (CLSCM-2023) with the theme “Developing Logistics and Supply Chain Management in the Southern Key Economic Region, Adapting to the Context of International Integration and the Industrial Revolution 4.0”. Details of the conference are as follows:

  1. PURPOSE OF THE CONFERENCE
  • Creating a platform for consulting/reviewing and policy-making on developing Logistics and Supply Chain Management in the Southern Key Economic Region to adapt to the context of international integration and the industrial revolution 4.0;
  • Improving the capability of research and application of scientific-technological advancements to logistics and supply chain management in the Southern Key Economic Region to adapt to the context of international integration and the industrial revolution 4.0;
  • Creating opportunities to exchange, connect, cooperate and share experiences on developing Logistics and Supply Chain Management between developers, scientists, lecturers and business administrators, adapting to the context of international integration and the industrial revolution 4.0;
  • Providing a scientific basis for making policies, and solutions to develop logistics and supply chain management in the Southern Key Economic Region to adapt to the context of international integration and the industrial revolution 4.0.
  1. TOPICS OF THE CONFERENCE
  • The current situation and the necessity of developing logistics and supply chain management in the Southern Key Economic Region to adapt to the context of international integration and the industrial revolution 4.0;
  • Developing the infrastructure for logistics and supply chains in the Southern Key Economic Region to adapt to the context of international integration and the industrial revolution 4.0;
  • Developing the logistics service market and the interdisciplinary supply chain of the Southern Key Economic Region to adapt to the context of international integration and the industrial revolution 4.0;
  • Human resource development in Logistics and Supply Chain Management in the Southern Key Economic Region to adapt to the context of international integration and the industrial revolution 4.0;
  • Linking and cooperating in developing Logistics and Supply Chain Management between the Southern Key Economic Region and domestic and international economic regions;
  • Promoting digital transformation and technological application to improve the quality and efficiency of services in logistics and supply chain management to adapt to the context of international integration and the industrial revolution 4.0;
  • Governance in logistics and supply chains to adapt to the context of international integration and the industrial revolution 4.0;
  • Other issues supporting the development of logistics and supply chain management in the Southern Key Economic Region to adapt to the context of international integration and the industrial revolution 4.0.
  1. OPPORTUNITIES FOR SCIENTIFIC PUBLICATION IN PRESTIGIOUS JOURNALS

The National Scientific Conference CLSCM-2023 is honored to be associated with The University of Danang – Journal of Science and Technology (in the ACI category and accounted for 1.25 points for scientific works according to the Regulations of the State Council for Professors); Journal of International Economics and Management (JIEM) of Foreign Trade University (accounted for 1 point for scientific works); Journal of Finance – Marketing (JFM) of University of Finance – Marketing (accounted for 0.5 points) and Journal of Economic Science (JES) of University of Economics – the University of Danang (accounted for 0.5 points). Accordingly, authors of quality papers presented at the conference will be invited by the editors-in-chief of the above journals to submit articles for publication in agreement with the process of reviewing conference papers.

  • Conference hosts: University of Finance – Marketing and University of Economics and Law – Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City.
  • Co-organizers of the conference: University of Economics – University of Danang, Foreign Trade University and Vietnam Association for Logistics Manpower Development.
  • Date: October 27th 2023 (Friday).
  • Venue: University of Finance – Marketing, Ho Chi Minh City.
  • Format: The conference will be held in both face-to-face and online format.

  1. REGULATIONS AND PARTICIPATION IN THE CONFERENCE
  • Presentation language: Vietnamese
  • Stipulated format for published papers in the Conference Memorandum: 4,000 to 6,000 words excluding references and appendix; presented on A4 paper size, Times New Roman font, font size 12, and 2 cm margins. Minimum entries: (1) Title; (2) Name of author/group of authors, working unit and telephone numbers; (3) Abstract of 200-300 words; (4) 2-5 keywords; (5) Theoretical basis and research methodology; (6) Research findings, discussions and policy implications; (7) References; (8) Appendix (if any).
  • Email address for submitting papers: clscm@ufm.edu.vn. The accepted papers will proceed to be edited and published in the Conference Memorandum with a publishing license and ISBN.
  • Deadline for submission: August 31st 2023
  • Deadline for authors to receive feedback on papers: before September 31st 2023
  • Deadline for registration for the conference: October 2nd 2023
  1. PARTICIPATION FEE FOR THE CONFERENCE: 1,000,000 VND/paper
  • The fee for participating in the conference includes: the cost of paper review, the cost of editing with ISBN (soft copy), tea break, and documents provided at the conference and does not include travel and accommodation expenses during the conference.
  • The deadline to register and pay the attendance fee for the conference is before October 3rd
  • Delegates of co-organizers are subsidized with 50% of the participation fee.
