VALOMA delegates visitted and worked the Ho Chi Minh university of banking
On the morning of April 26th, 2023, Viet Nam Association for Logistics Manpower Development (VALOMA) visited and worked with Ho Chi Minh University of Banking (HUB). The delegation led by Assoc., Prof. Ho Thi Thu Hoa – Vice President of VALOMA, with the participation of Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nha – Head of the Board of Members; Assoc. Prof,, Prof. Ha Thi Ngoc Oanh – Deputy Head of the Inspection Committee; Dr. Ha Minh Hieu – Deputy Head of Communication Department and representatives of businesses, lecturers from universities and colleges, which are members of the Association. In particular, the delegation had the presence of Mr. Tran Thanh Hai – Deputy Director of Import and Export Department, Ministry of Industry and Trade, and honorary Chairman of VALOMA.
On the side of Ho Chi Minh University of Banking, there was a warm welcome from Assoc., Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Trung – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, principal of the University and teachers who are Heads and Deputy Heads of departments, faculties, institutes and universities teachers.
The VALOMA delegation had Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Duc Trung shared about the process of formation and development of Ho Chi Minh University of Banking. The university wished to cooperate and coordinate training in the field of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, especially to soon become an official member of VALOMA. Representative of VALOMA, Assoc. Dr. Ho Thi Thu Hoa also shared the results achieved by the Association in the past as well as the upcoming plans and expectations and committed to creating all conditions to bring maximum support for HUB to become an official member. of VALOMA.
On the side of the State management agency, Mr. Tran Thanh Hai shared about the need to connect to improve the quality of Logistics human resources training in the coming time. Besides, Assoc., Dr. Ha Thi Ngoc Oanh stated that cooperating and becoming a member of VALOMA would bring a lot of opportunities to Ho Chi Minh University of Banking, especially in the process of application-oriented training, accepting credits between the universities in the VALOMA system as well as heading towards a unified curriculum among members of the Association. Mr. Bui Huu Nghia – Head of Human Resource Development Department of U&I Logistics Joint Stock Company, said that the cooperation with VALOMA would open many opportunities for students to approach businesses in the field of logistics. With the same view, Mr. Le Minh Phung – Sales Director of AJ Total committed to support the school for students to study at the company’s cold storage system.
Acquiring the orientations of VALOMA, Assoc. Prof,, Dr. Nguyen Duc Trung – Principal of the school thanked the Association for enabling the school to join the logistics and supply chain ecosystem of VALOMA and pledged to cooperate to soon become an official member of the Association.
