Vietnam Association for Logistic Manpower Development (VALOMA) was allowed to be established by the Ministry of Home Affairs under Decision No. 568/QD-BNV dated April 30, 2021 with the mission of becoming a convergence place to spread faster, more widely and more effectively with modern knowledge, rich experience and advanced technology in training human resources in the logistics and supply chain management (LSCM) industry.
With the task of improving the quality of logistics human resources, under the auspices of the Department of Import and Export (Ministry of Industry and Trade), the Vietnam Association for Logistic Manpower Development organized the Vietnam Young Logistics Talents. The contest is a practical playground for students of Vietnamese universities and colleges who are studying or have a passion for the logistics industry, contributing to improving the quality of human resources in the logistics industry, recruiting and nurturing potential students. The ability to simultaneously connect students, schools and businesses in logistics training. The contest also contributes to promoting and raising social awareness about the importance and benefits of developing the logistics field/industry.
After 5 competition seasons, the Vietnam Young Logistics Talents has spread widely and widely to students, becoming the largest and most prestigious logistics competition in Vietnam. Each competition season has left an indelible mark with its quality content, meticulous format, and tough competitions… In the 5th season alone, the competition attracted 2,400 contestants from 606 teams from 66 universitie, schools, colleges, and training establishments across the country.
Following the success of the past 5 competition seasons, the Vietnam Young Logistics Talents 2023 officially returns, promising to bring exciting competitions, practical topics and improvements in terms of performance as well as images.
At 3:00 p.m. on August 20, 2023, the Vietnam Association for Logistic Manpower Development successfully organized the Information Festival – Information Day in the form of live in Hanoi and online via Zoom Meeting combined with livestream on the Conference’s fanpage Viet Nam Young Logistics Talents competition.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Tran Thanh Hai – Deputy Director of the Import-Export Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade), Honorary Chairman of VALOMA, and the initiator of the Vietnam Logistics Young Talent Contest; Associate Prof. Dr. Trinh Thi Thu Huong – Vice President of the Association, Head of the Competition Organizing Committee; Associate Professor, PhD. Ho Thi Thu Hoa – Vice President of the Association, Deputy Head of the Competition Organizing Committee; Dr. Trinh Thi Thanh Thuy – General Secretary of the Association, PhD. Nguyen Thi Van Ha – Head of the Association’s Communications Department, Executive Director of the Contest and teachers in VALOMA.

Based on the team registration data and conditions of each school, they will be responsible for organizing the School Recruitment Round and registering the implementation method with the Organizing Committee.
The Final Round was held in 1 day of competition with the participation of 16 teams. The Final Round includes 4 competitions: Part 1 is held in the morning to find 8 excellent teams to continue; The next 3 parts will be a competition between 8 teams to find the Champion of the 2023 Logistics Young Talent Contest. It is expected that this year’s contest will be held in Ho Chi Minh City.
VNYLT Information Fair 2023 was held with great success, attracting more than 350 students to register to participate. The program has received many questions from teachers and students related to the Contest as well as the development of the logistics profession. The sharing of the sponsoring businesses along with the sharing of the Teachers, Organizing Committee and former contestants has added motivation to help students have a clear direction on participating in the Contest as well as pursuing Logistics industry as their career passion.
