Continuing to respond to the spirit of contributing to society, on May 6, 2023, VALOMA Association successfully organized the 4th voluntary blood donation program “VALOMA’s Enthusiasm” at the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion. This is an activity that is held periodically twice a year, organized by VALOMA’s Board of Members. This event has attracted the attention and enthusiastic response of more than 50 members, including Mr. Tran Thanh Hai – Deputy Director at Agency of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Honorary Chairman of VALOMA; officials of the Ministry of Industry and Trade; teachers from universities and colleges such as the Thuongmai University; University of Education 2, Hanoi University of Industry, Academy of Finance, … ; business partners such as Gemadept Joint Stock Company; Real Logistics Company Limited (Real Logistics); ALP Logistics Joint Stock Company, … and students in the Vietnam Logistics Club Network.

Humanitarian blood donation has long been a noble gesture imbrued with humane values, which is extremely necessary for society. Blood donation is evaluated as a scientific activity showing the share of healthy people toward sick people in need of blood for treatment without affecting the health of blood donors. Moreover, those who participate in blood donation will receive positive reactions to their body such as stimulating the new blood regeneration process, creating a positive mental state, comfortable psychology, reducing the risk of overloaded iron as well as cardiovascular diseases and cancer.

Through this event, VALOMA Association hopes to connect members, build a community of human resources in the logistics industry in Vietnam, develop professional skills and bring many humanities values for the community and society.

The program ended with 10,850ml donated and bright smiles of all participating members with the promise to meet again in the program in October 2023 with a larger scale and wider area to bring more good value for the community.
